I am a graduate of the Music College in Soroca and a student in the Department of Folk Instruments at the “Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts.” The ethnofolkloric ensemble “Plăieșii” is like a second family to me, and Mr. Nicolae Gribincea is like a second father.
From the very first months of my activity with “Plăieșii,” I felt that, thanks to the songs we promote, we are surrounded by quality, soulful people who value the true values of life—people who love their nation and country.
I would invite all those who have yet to discover us to come to at least one show and listen to genuine songs, carefully selected with great taste by our mentor, Nicolae Gribincea.
If I had to attribute a few characteristics, I would say this group is valuable, young, and creative.
These songs are collected one by one during folkloric expeditions, and here we must thank our leader for his dedication and for teaching us only things worthy of being passed down from generation to generation.
